“…When I was 13 years old my older sister passed away from brain cancer when she was 16. Since that time I have been working close with the American Cancer Society (ACS), whether it included volunteering at their events or interning in the local ACS office. When choosing wedding favors my husband and I knew we wanted to honor my sister in some way especially since it is difficult knowing someone so special to you won’t be their during that amazing day. With Truffles for a Cause I felt like I was doing something important in her honor.
