Twin Towers Orphan Fund, The Michael J. Fox Foundation, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation were the 3 great causes Angie donated to last August from her large wedding favor order.

The Twin Towers Orphan Fund was founded on September 11, 2001, just hours after terrorists killed approximately 3,000 people that worked in the twin towers in New York city. Their mission is to mitigate, as much as possible, the damage done to the children due to the loss of a parent. They do this by providing assistance for higher education and mental health – rebuilding futures one at a time. Visit their website.

(Angie’s beautiful wedding favors were our Boxed Mini’s with purple & new chartreuse ribbons in our Modern style. Congratulations Angie, thanks for your favor order – you have a kind heart.)

Whether you can only accommodate Mini wedding favors in your budget or you go all out for Deluxe wedding favors, the charity awareness factor is the same. Mini favors (includes 4 silver mini truffles), for Jessica & Rick for the (World Wildlife Fund), with printed royal blue ribbons or our Deluxe Foil favors (which includes an assortment of gold/milk chocolate, silver/dark chocolate, fuchsia/dark raspberry chocolate and purple/amaretto chocolate), for Rachel & Patrick for the (American Heart Association), with printed grappa ribbons, their giving sentiment and charity donations (last summer), were still beautiful. Thanks for the charity awareness and the best of luck to them.

These wedding favors for Gurkaran & Sharan’s wedding were Boxed Mini’s with a beautiful combination of printed azalea and gold ribbons. Their Option #2 charity donations went to the National Brain Tumor Society which is the largest non-profit organization dedicated to the brain tumor community in the United States. It was formed in 2008 by the merger of the National Brain Tumor Foundation and the Brain Tumor Society. They are fiercely committed to finding better treatments, and ultimately a cure, for people living with a brain tumor today and anyone who will be diagnosed tomorrow.      Our Option #1 and #2 charity cards (included with all our wedding favors), are pre-printed on the front side. They say – “For This Special Occasion A Donation Has Been Made to…” On the other/back side we give our couples the option of writing something special. Aida & Frank opted for two charity donations – The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society & American Cancer Society, and enclosed this lovely inscription – “In loving memory of my Mother and those who are forever present in our hearts.” Their class style ribbons are the color of lemon grass. Thanks and good luck to Aida & Frank!!!  Your charity cards are beautiful!!!

We love Habitat for Humanity “A world where everyone has a descent place to live,” and Hima & Eugene loved them too! Their Mini wedding favors with scarlet ribbons have charity cards inside that designate Habitat for Humanity as their charity donation.

Habitat for Humanity first grew from the fertile soil of Koinonia Farm, a community farm outside of Americus, Georgia, founded by farmer and biblical scholar Clarence Jordan. On the farm, Jordan and Habitat’s eventual founders Millard and Linda Fuller developed the concept of “partnership housing.” The concept centered on those in need of adequate shelter working side by side with volunteers to build decent, affordable houses. The houses would be built at no profit. New homeowners’ house payments would be combined with no-interest loans provided by supporters and money earned by fundraising to create “The Fund for Humanity,” which would then be used to build more homes. Thanks in no small part to the personal involvement of U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn and the awareness they have raised, Habitat now works in 1,400 communities across the U.S. and in nearly 70 countries and has helped 6.8 million people achieve strength, stability and independence through safe, decent and affordable shelter. To learn more about Habitat for Humanity you can visit their website.
