“We were very happy with our favors. We got many compliments on them. I (bride), am a breast cancer survivor and my husband’s father passed away from cancer 7 months before the wedding.  We knew we wanted to make a charity donation instead of some insignificant trinket, and the fact that we were able to donate, and give out delicious chocolate favors was awesome!  I highly recommend “Truffles for a Cause” to anyone that wants to do something rewarding. Thank you so much.”

“Approximately 7 months before our wedding, as we were in the debate between a donation and an item for our favor, my niece (flower girl), was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 2 1/2.  The diagnosis was a shock to the family and immediately pushed our decision to have a donation.  We wanted to combine something that would be a donation with an item for the guests.  Many people think individuals with Type 1 Diabetes are unable to have sweets when in reality the disease is about managing all of it and sometimes those sweets can save their lives.  The use of the truffles served as a reminder that Type 1 diabetes individuals are not prohibited from the little joys of a piece of chocolate.”

“My husband and I being in our mid to late twenties have been to a number of weddings.  We have received the coasters, frames, etc. that typically dot a table as a favor.  A few recent weddings had started the charity trend with bracelets related to the cause or a little sign describing the donation.  We wanted to chose a wedding favor that would both represent the charity of our choice, look presentable and taste delicious.  Truffles for a Cause truly satisfied all of those requirements!!  The company was VERY easy to work with and the truffles arrived perfect the week of our August wedding.”

“My wedding last August 2013 was a success – an absolute dream come true! I always knew that I would want to make a charity donation St Jude for my wedding and your truffles helped me do that while still giving a sweet little something to my guests. I had surgery a month before my wedding, so it was a relief to not have to go shopping around for favors, but instead ordering them through the telephone and have everything arrive at my doorstep just in time!!!”

“We really enjoyed the truffles with the donation going to Breast Cancer Research at our wedding. It was a surprise for my mom who had just beaten breast cancer. I have attached this photo from the wedding when she first read the note inside the bag of truffles. Thank you for everything – it was such a thoughtful wedding favor for our guests!”

(Claire’s favors (that were dedicated to her mom), were our lovely Mini favors tied with pink ribbons and silver mini truffles inside. Her charity donation went to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. www.bcrf.org)

Francine & Gabe’s favors were our Dessert favors with new chartreuse & hot pink ribbons with a split combination of milk chocolate/amaretto and white/Irish cream dessert truffles. Their charity donation went to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Dutchess County SPCA (www.dcspca.org)

“…All our guests loved the truffles. Not just the taste, because they were delicious, but also the idea of having chocolate wedding favors that meant something. It was important that we personalize the favors by having a charity donation of our choosing and then picking colors that coordinated with our flowers etc..!! It was all so perfect. We get a table that looks beautiful, the guests get something yummy and the charities get some needed help. It all works! Why would anyone do anything else?”    Francine & Gabe
